I have had several questions lately about my book, The No B.S. Guide To Winning Online Texas Holdem, from subscribers to my free poker e-course. The main question I have been getting from readers is "is the e-book for more advanced players than free e-course?" The answer to that, in a word, is "yes".

The free poker e-course available on my web site is for novice players. It is geared to take you through, step by step, getting started playing Texas Holdem online. For some players, this information is irrelevant, as they are already playing online. To these players, I would just ask you to remember that all of us had to start somewhere.

My e-book is designed for the novice player through the advanced player. If you have never played Texas Hold em you will find it a good place to start learning. If you have been playing poker for some time and are looking to improve your game, this book is ideal for you.

In the No B.S. Guide I cover in depth, strategies and methods that I use every day. In addition, there are tons of actual hand examples from my extensive library of hands, that I have actually played. Some of them I played well, some incorrectly. They are all gathered together for learning purposes, however. You get to see the good plays right along with the bad, and the great part is, you do not have to make mistakes yourself, you can simply read about them and learn from the examples.

To those of you who have asked, the book goes MUCH more into depth with advanced strategy than the e-course, which is just designed to get people playing.

The other question it get asked is this "Is your e-book an instructional for online poker ONLY or does it apply to Texas Holdem played in a live casino as well?"

Again, the No B.S. Guide has many specific examples for online play, but it is designed to improve your play in both online and live settings. As you can plainly see by the thousands of online players playing at the WSOP events this year and many winning bracelets, playing online poker will drastically improve your live game as well. The main reason is, the game moves much faster and you see more hands, thereby packing in experience MUCH more quickly than you would by playing in bricks and mortar casinos only.
