Today being November 4th, Election Day, online poker players need to be reminder to get out to the polls and vote. If you have not done so already, check out the candidates who are running in your state through the PPA website to see their rating on the subject of internet poker.

The PPA has done much research and gone to a ton of effort to inform us online poker players about the candidates running for office in our respective states. We in turn, need to use this information to elect the people who will best serve our interests. This election is crucial, as the fate of online poker will likely be decided in the coming legislative sessions. We need elected officials who have an INFORMED opinion on the subject of internet poker and do not just view the game as another form of internet gambling.

I will admit, there is not a clear cut presidential choice when it comes to the issue of online poker, but there are many men and women running for seats in each state who have opinions on the subject and whom the PPA has already given a rating on. Take a couple of minutes to vist the PPA site to find out about the various candiates. Most importantly, get out and vote and make the voice of online poker players heard in this election!
