No Limit Texas Hold em Poker: Full Tilt Sundays

After playing a lot of online poker over the weekend, I decided to write a short post about all the juicy tournaments that take place on Full Tilt over the weekend and on Sundays There are an awful lot of good deals to look for on the site and some great money to be made.

First of all the Sunday Brawl is always fun to play in. It offers the highest “knockout” bonus of any of Full Tilt’s knockout games. The  $240+$16 entry fee has $40 going toward each players bounty, so when you knock them out of the tournament, you get $40 each time, immediately credited to your account. This is a great tournament that generates a huge prize pool aside from the knockouts.

Along the same lines is the $750k Sunday tournament which does not have the knockout bonus , but generates a great prize pool. For the $200+$16 buy in, you play in a larger field which yesterday had about 4000 players, the top 554 of which got paid. The top prize was $132,000, so it is easy to see why over 20 pros were playing in this high dollar event yesterday.

The nice thing about both these tournaments is that there are always satellites going, so if the buy in is a little more than you want to pay, you can always get in a Sit N Go to win your entry for quite a bit less money. I won entry to the $750k tourney yesterday by placing in the top 3 of a 9 player Sit n Go with a $69+$6 buy in, however, there are also tournaments for quite a bit less that will afford you the opportunity to win your entry as well.

Of course, the Early Double, Daily Double, and Big Double are always going. These are the tournaments that you play two at the same time and are awarded additional bonuses for finishing in the money in both, top combined finish, and the jackpot if you happen to be good enough to win both. That would be quite a feat, worthy of the $36k currently being offered in the Daily Double. These tournaments also fit any budget with the Early Double costing $6 each, the Daily Double, $12 each , and the Big Double $75 each. If nothing else, these games are a great way to sharpen your play by playing in both at once. If you have not tried it, you should. They are fun and tougher than you might think to place in the money in both.

Full Tilt also offers quite a number of $24+$2 buy ins throughout the day with prize pools from $17,500 on up. There are also some juicy $69+$6 buy ins with $75k prize pools. You will find several pros generally playing in these. The money is that good.

Overall, Sundays are a great day to play at Full Tilt. There is quite a little bit going on and a tournament to fit any budget. If you don’t play on Full Tilt, you should try it. There is a large variety and large amount of prize money to be won.
