Over the past month I have been playing more and more poker on GR88. I know some of you that I have talked to have switched over as well, I would be interested in hearing any feedback you have from playing on the site. Obviously, there are differences in the amount of traffic on GR88 and Full Tilt or PokerStars, but other than that, I find there to be large amount of cash games as well as pretty decent tournaments, at least in the NLH realm.
Also, I have not had any experiences like Full Tilt had yesterday in their Mini FTOPS where they basically shut down the site right in the middle of all these big tournaments for 30 or 40 minutes! Sure, GR88 may not have as much traffic, but you don’t have to go through that kind of crap. You cannot offer tournaments with a $500k guarantee and then have them break down a couple of hours into it in mid hand! Typical FT!

In other poker news, the WSOP for 2011 is right around the corner, for those of you that plan to qualify online, now is the time to be mapping out a plan to do so. Satellites will be starting soon on most of the major sites and even live qualifying events in your areas will be getting going within the next month or so. Plan to get involved, I am sure this year’s WSOP will be bigger than ever. Last year’s was enormous, especially in the events other than the Main Event.
Speaking of Vegas, I was their for my anniversary a week ago and played in a tournament at the Aria. I wanted to give a shout out to the staff at the Aria, as I always enjoy playing there and find it to be one of the better run rooms in Vegas. Great room, great staff, I like it more every time I play there. The next time you are in Vegas, check out the Aria.
