For those of you who have done coaching in the past with me that may be wondering, I still offer coaching even though there is no valid online poker source for US players right now. Either by phone or Skype, it is more conceptual and requires a bit more note taking on your part as you are playing hands, but it is very helpful to have the coaching if you are making the switch from online play to live play.
Of course, if you are wanting something more intensive, I do still offer my live one-on-one coaching and I generally will meet you in Vegas for one to two day training, although there are times where it works to meet other places as well.
I have been offering more Omaha and Omaha/8 coaching lately as well, in addition to NLH both for cash games and tournament play.
As a side note, I have talked to several players that are still able to play online poker in the US on some of the smaller sites like SportsBook. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS!!!!!
While it may be possible to play on these sites, (particularly if you had an account prior to Black Friday) whether or not you will ever be able to cash out on them is another matter entirely. Even if you do cash out, it is impossible in the current climate to know if that is continue, or if you will wake up one day and your money will be gone and the site shut down. (ie Full Tilt, UB, etc)
For the present time, I highly recommend to all players that they not attempt to put ANY money into online poker if they live the in the US. It is just too much of a risk.
